First day of School!

This is the first day of school and Ariel was a little apprehensive about going to a new school. I was a little concerned also, because she is in the fifth grade, which meant she would have to start a new school this year and then again next year when she has to middle school. However, she loves the school! In fact, she told me this is the best school she has ever attended. I laughed because this is only the second school she has ever attended.

She loves her teacher and thinks she is nice. She tells me just wait to later in the year, though. She said she may be just being nice because this is the first week of school. I laughed again.

Now she feels much better being in a new school. She is settling in and making new friends.

A day at the Mall

Whenever we go to the mall, we always stop to let Cailin play in the indoor play place.

She likes to get in the car and out of the car and climb on top of the car!

She just loves it because everything is exactly her size.

Eyeshadow

I have no idea what she is doing right here.....

or here, because she is prone to break out into strange and funny faces. However, check out the eyeshadow. She managed to put that on while we were suppose to be in the store looking at school clothes.

but Cailin seems pretty tickled by it.

She's been doing this since she was a baby. She plays with her ear and sucks on her tongue.

Big Gymnast & Little Gymnast

She just can't resist- the gymnast in her comes out everywhere we go. Look at the arms and legs!

This is what she has taught Cailin. Now Cailin tries to turn flips too!

Muscle Meet

The purpose of the Muscle Meet is to test endurance. She won quite a few awards that day. She works really hard- just look at those arms.

Dinosaur World

Ariel Cailin and I went to Dinosaur World. It was a pretty interesting place, but mostly it was just hot because we were outside in the summer heat.
