Why are you so sad?

Ariel is so sad this morning. So sad that she can't smile for the camera. Ariel why are you so sad?

Why do you have such a long face? Why, Ariel are you not even facing the camera?

"Because you made me wear a skirt!" she replied. Ohh, poor thing!

I'm 15 months old

She runs through the house all the time. She runs as fast as she can if it is a door open to a room that I usually keep closed. She gets into everything, which is why the doors are usually closed to places like the bathroom. She says and points to eye and nose, but sometimes will mix them up. She has two teeth at the bottom with 1 tooth and 3 potentials growing in at the top of her mouth. She currently looks like a snaggle tooth with that one tooth in far more than the others.

She says nose, eye, teet (when she wants to brush her teeth), eat-eat, juice, na-na (banana), hey, hello, Ma-ma, Da-dee, and the name she calls out all day long Air-yay (Ariel) it doesn't matter if Ariel is around or not. The funniest thing she does is say uhn-uhh (what we say for no).

She loves to eat almost any fruit and vegetable. She eats mostly everything that is offered. I wonder if that will change? Although, she doesn't much care for spaghetti sauce, she eats the noodles but just not when it has sauce on them.

Ahhhh-gee

We have all been trying to figure out what exactly does she mean when she says "Ahhhh-gee". She says it when she is expressing a sentiment or just trying to get your attention. She uses hand motions and she pronounces it with emphasis placed on the first syllable of the word. It is most often heard when she is interrupting a conversation especially if noone is paying attention to her. She says it with the same intensity as the conversation around her. If someone is talking loud then matches the intensity of the conversation and practically screams it. *sigh* I guess we will never know the meaning.

when it gets on her hands, she screams "Eeeeee" and comes and wipes it on your pants.

Jerry doesn't like when I take pictures with her clothes off, but I say just look at her. Pretty soon she will be too big for me to do this, but in the meantime just look at that belly. And just look at that belly button.

And just look at her sucking on those feet.

First day of School!

This is the first day of school and Ariel was a little apprehensive about going to a new school. I was a little concerned also, because she is in the fifth grade, which meant she would have to start a new school this year and then again next year when she has to middle school. However, she loves the school! In fact, she told me this is the best school she has ever attended. I laughed because this is only the second school she has ever attended.

She loves her teacher and thinks she is nice. She tells me just wait to later in the year, though. She said she may be just being nice because this is the first week of school. I laughed again.

Now she feels much better being in a new school. She is settling in and making new friends.

A day at the Mall

Whenever we go to the mall, we always stop to let Cailin play in the indoor play place.

She likes to get in the car and out of the car and climb on top of the car!

She just loves it because everything is exactly her size.
