This was by far the coolest exhibit. The sharks and sting rays on ice.

They were allowed to touch and feel the animals while they played a game of fun facts about the sea creatures.

It was very fishy smelling.

We did get to see live animals as well. Like these sting rays.
After we left the Marine Science Center, we went to Daemon Landing Park for a picnic. This is the entire fith grade.

Everone making funny faces.

Spring Break

We spent a weekend of Spring Break in Orlando, just hanging out. It was only about 80 degrees, but these guys wanted to swim everyday we were there. It was about 70 degrees in the morning, when they actually swam, which is not nearly warm enough for me.

Jerry told her that the water gets warm after you go ahead and get in.

Yeah right! She discovers that's not true.

Jerry splashing Ariel!

Cailin in the pool with Daddy

"Wader"

No matter how many times I said "pool", she always called it "wader" (water).

Wader it is!

"Bug"

Cailin loves bugs. They can be a small as an ant or as big as a lizard (she calls them bugs too)! She will try to touch them or pick them up if you let her. It creeps me out. I always find myself across the way from her (because I have placed myself as far away as safely possible) yelling put that bug down, Cailin.

Look at Cailin swim!

This is Cailin's first time in the pool in a long time. I took her in before over my Mom's house, but she was a just a baby then. When Jerry put her on her stomach, she started flap her arms and kicking her legs. Look at those faces she is making. Oh my!

Extra swim gear for Cailin

Jerry found the floating swimsuit and arm floats in the garage and he put them on Cailin.

Then he just lets her go in the pool. She flopped back on her back and was very unsure about it.

But then she got the hang of it and also probably recognized that she would stay on top of the water.

Because she started having a blast and kicking her legs.

She was a regular pro after a while.
