Camden is TWO!
Camden, my sweet, laid back and handsome thumb sucker. You sing the SpongeBob song. You mimic your Momma by saying, "I know!" You can say most anything just like Grey.
You say "nana (banana)" "meal (oatmeal)" "wa-wa (water)" "yo-gar (yogurt)" "uhn-un (while shaking your head no)" "eew (when something is smelly)" "ba-ree (all berries)" "ap-pal (all round fruit that resembles apples)" "joos (juice)"
Everyday, you guys say more and more words.
It has been quite a while since I took you out to take photos. Every time I sat you down in front of me and tried to take a photo, you got up immediately. You thought it was pretty funny and wanted to be chased. Needless to say, I have a lot of photos of you in the midst of getting up.
And side views.
You like exploring and being chased. You like to jump and climb like just like your brother. You are a typical boy in that you find burps and farts hilarious. You have already mastered how to burp repeatedly.
You are a good napper. You some times even take two naps daily. You also go to sleep for the night like clockwork.
My two little thumbsuckers. You wouldn't sit still for a photo but for some reason you would sit with Rylie.
You give hugs and kisses and pushes and slaps. You don't care that your sisters are bigger.
Grey likes gadgets and you like the remote control. You have figured out that it controls the television. You like to watch Teletubbies and Sesame Street. And of course SpongeBob.
We love you sweet boys!

Grey is TWO!
Your favorite breakfast is bananas (nanas). But then you can eat as many as three bananas daily. So, you don't really just eat them for breakfast. You also like oatmeal. You will eat pancakes, but it must be when you're really hungry, because they usually get thrown on the on the floor. You like strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries ( you call them all bar-rees).
For lunch, you like to eat sandwiches (PBJ), tacos, and chicken. You like meat and will stuff your mouth until food no longer fits.
Dinner is normally whatever we are having. You aren't usually a really picky eater.
You like juice. Do I really need to say that? What baby doesn't like juice?! Mostly you get orange juice and fruit punch. You will try most food. As long as it's on someone else's plate beside your own. You really like playing with food.
You think you are much too busy to take naps. You prefer the play until I drop method. Naps for you, usually happen in the car. Or when someone makes you lay down. You sleep about three hours, though. When we can finally get you laid down. You usually sleep in our bed. And it seems the minute that I get up- even if it's the middle of the night- you will get up too.
You say so many words, I can't keep up anymore. Everyday it seems there's something else new you're saying. Of course, you say "Ma-ma" "Da-dee" and "Air-yo" Ariel. You say "up" to be picked up. You say "wa-wa" for a drink of water. And "joos" juice, "off" to take your shoes off, "yight" light, "Mum-bo" Mumsil, "I red-dee" when you're mimicking me as I say "I'm ready"
When, I come home in the morning from work, you greet me at the door and immediately ask for my "p-on" phone. Man, oh man, you it's scary how proficient you are at navigating around my phone. You love the phone. You can take photos, you can play games and watch movies. You can literally be on the phone scrolling around until the battery dies.
You second favorite activity seems to be tinkering with the washing machine and dryer. I have to set the childproof lock, to keep my clothes washing and drying on the settings that *I* choose.
Earlier, this year when it was still a bit cold outside. We noticed that the hot water wasn't getting hot. In fact, it was cold. We went the whole weekend with the plan to call someone to come a replace or fix the water heater. As I'm on the phone with the company, I notice YOU up on a stool pressing buttons on the water heater. You little bugger, had turned on the vacation setting on the heater. The water heater was "broken" by you.
I have also caught you adjusting the thermostat too.
I'm just going to say it right now, that I'm betting you have a future in Computer Information Systems or Engineering.

Camden and Grey are ONE!
I know! I know! I’m such a slacker, slacker pants. But everyday as you guys do more and more, it forced me to finally make a new blog post.
So, here I go!
Camden, you have two teeth at the bottom and the top teeth are busting through right now. You have been grumpy, grumpy because of that too! You are the mellow baby; my thumb sucker. You like to cuddle and will sit for the longest time in my arms and just suck that thumb. You take two naps- a long nap in the morning and a short one in the evening. And you’ve been sleeping through the night since you were about ten months old. You also stopped nursing at ten months. I want you to know that really hurt my feelings. You are the dare devil- you like when daddy throws you in the air. You love to be chased. You run and it’s the cutest thing. You give big juicy, wet kisses complete with the kiss noise. You can get down off the couch by going down feet first. You are always tickled with yourself when your feet touch the floor. I hear lots of Da-da-da and Ma-ma-ma. And squeals. The other day, when your Mumsil said “All gone!” we could have sworn that you tried to repeat that. You say no by shaking your head. This is also the first month that I have noticed that it feels as if you understand me. You say goodbye by waving your hand. You come when I call you or say “come here.” You like to play Pat-A-Cake. You clap your hands. You also clap when I say “Yay."
You are just starting to stand and take steps. I think we are up to about four steps. You are always practicing and have even gotten so good that now you try to stand in the middle of the room without holding on to anything. Boy, do you love to eat. You want food from everyone’s plate and it doesn’t matter if you have just eaten. You like fish and chicken- I usually give you ground chicken or turkey. You like mostly all veggies like sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, squash and zucchini, and green beans. I’m listing then here so, I can remind you once you’re bigger that you used to eat your veggies. You like all fruits, like watermelon, blue berries, blackberries, raspberries, avocados, and apple sauce. Sorry, Camden but from previous babies, I learned that you guys have to be solidly drinking water before you get juice. So, you’ve only had water and milk. And it’s taken about a week but you guys are now drinking full cups of water that I give you. Also, no bottles! Just sippy cups for you guys.
You are a hitter. You don’t like when Grey, or anybody for that matter takes toys from you. That will surely earn them a slap. You also hit closed fisted! It’s just something you have always done. You like to push objects across the floor. That reminds me of a something- Cailin was standing on a chair trying to reach a game in the closet and you (or Grey) came by and pushed the chair from under her and left her stranded in the closet hanging on to the vacuum. It was the funniest thing! We love you sweet boy!
Grey, you are my feisty boy! You sometimes only want to be held by me. You are a constant nurser. Sometimes you want to nurse like a newborn baby. You take two naps daily- a long nap in the morning and a shorter nap in the evening. You don’t quite sleep through the night. You are the holdout though, you’re much too busy to nap. I have to sometimes make you nap. You like to be tickled! You like when Daddy takes you and rolls all around the bed tickling and kissing you. You think it’s funny when I hide from you and you have to find me. You like to give kisses. You guys love your big sisters. I think you’re tickled the most by Rylie because she is the smallest, I think. You are such a big boy. You can get off the couch and the bed by going down feet first. You say no and you mean it. You usually say it when you have too much food or don’t want any more food. You will shake your head no and mean no! This is also the first month that I feel you understand me. I say something and you respond by doing it. It’s the cutest thing. You play “Pat-A-Cake” and clap your hands. I say “No-no-no to you and it sounds like you say it back. I say bye-bye and again it sounds like you said it too. You all are such smart babies.
You are a good eater! You eat the things Camden eats and you are always willing to give something else a try. I also give you guys crackers, toast, and oatmeal. You all both love oatmeal!
You are a bit of a bully. You all both just take toys from each other. But if Camden or someone doesn’t readily give you what you want, you grab it anyway and hang on for dear life. You have a new yell (it’s more like a screech) that you do when you are unhappy with something.
You are standing and trying to keep your balance. They way you’re trying to walk reminds me of Cailin walking. It is just so haphazard and dare-devilish. You are already trying to take steps when you don’t quite have your balance. You figure you’re going to do it anyway. You all are such a joy to have! You both complete our family. And i love you, my precious baby boy!

My Baby Cakes are 5mos. Old

Ha! You always have those arms stretched out like this!
Grey- I love your laughs. You are tickled when I sing and talk to you. You are becoming more aware. You cry when we walk away from you. You kick when you see a bottle of milk. You love nursing and need to breastfeed to sleep. You suck on your thumb, though you don't do it consistently. You love your sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and bananas. I love your feistiness. You know what you want and don't have any problem letting us know. You still refuse to ride in your car seat if you're fully awake. You are determined to get your way. You cry and cry. I get your big sisters to give you a pacifier or hold you.
